Congratulations to Brad Cunningham who won a season’s pass to the Q’s Victoria Track Series 2011. Brad get’s to race all races (excluding women’s and kid’s) throughout the entire 2011 series.

The draw was made from all those who provided feedback on improvements for the series, during the ‘Help Shape The Series’ campaign.

With 202 different email messages suggesting everything from adding sprint distances (100 & 200m) adding mega-prize money and rock stars, I have pared down some of the suggestions to help improve the series including:

Saturday nights are THE night and perhaps a Wednesday would be nice too.

The distances were perfect, but 400m and 10, 000m once each would be good additions.

Jack Wallace Memorial Track at Oak Bay High School IS THE right location with maybe 1 or 2 meets at Centennial Stadium at UVIC.
