The Q’s Victoria Track Series age-group configuration will now have two more age-groups added to the young end of the spectrum.

For 2010, there was a kid’s section of shorter races that took place every-other-meet and included two distances only: 800m or 1000m.

For 2011, the kid’s categories and the separated 800m and 1000m distances will be scrapped and instead the kids will be included in all open races.

Two new age groups are: 10 – 12 and 13 – 15.

Doing this will allow those aged 10 – 15 the opportunity to race every meet, except for the Pacific-Canada meet at UVic – see schedule.

10 – 15 age-group participants prices will go up however, they may take advantage of youth pricing. Youth pricing will include all runners up to 18 years of age. 19 and older pay adult prices.

Current pricing is $60 for Season Pass, $40-4-pack and $10 for single races.

Youth pricing: $45 for Season Pass, $25-4-pack and $7.50 for single races (single in advance – $10 for day of).
