The Maurice Tarrant Performance Award

*Awarded annually to the Q’s Victoria Track Series athlete who receives the most votes from his or her peers, while competing in any of the Q’s Victoria Track Series races.

2011 Maurice Tarrant Performance Award winner was Mark Jackman.

2010 Maurice Tarrant Performance Award winner was the man himself, Maurice Tarrant.

Day of race registration for individual entries will be $15 per race. All races are capped at 16 participants – no exceptions.

You can pay for any and all races with ca$h at the races, in-person. Races take place at the  University of Victoria’s Centennial Stadium. Except for June 2nd, which will be at Oak Bay High School track (Jack Wallace Memorial) also more conveniently accessed behind Recreation Oak Bay.

Open category: For everyone of all abilities – male and female race together.

Elite category: Elite races include runners of varying abilities. Standards may be set without prior warning. Heats may be added, if required without warning. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Bring family and friends to cheer you on. Spectators are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a small donation to the Mustard Seed Foodbank.
